Panorama Mesdag - The Hague, Netherlands

With the help of painters from the Hague School Blommers, De Bock and Breitner and his wife Sientje Mesdag-van Houten, Mesdag painted a seascape with a circumference of 120 meters and a height of 14 meters. Location: the Seinpostduin, then the highest dune in Scheveningen!
The panorama of Mesdag is one of the few remaining examples and also the oldest panorama in the world, situated at its original location.

"As a teenager I visited Panorama Mesdag in The Hague, The Netherlands. I was immediately impressed. Seeing becomes an experience, especially when you are physically standing in the kiosk, in the middle of the painting. It has always stayed with me and was the inspiration to follow in the footsteps of Hendrik Willem Mesdag, as a contemporary panorama photographer. A decision I shared with my good friend Erik. It resulted in a joint venture."
"Although I was successful with production of high end corporate and training videos for various international clients, in 2004 I was open to something new. Interactive virtual tours seemed like a good addition to the existing services. I was also enthusiastic and immediately saw the potential, after having a closer look at Panorama Mesdag in The Hague, The Netherlands. Hence the contact with friend Arno and decides to continue."
In 2004 Arno and Erik made the first virtual tour explorations and investments were made in the necessary hardware (Italy) and software (China). In 2008 the Chamber of Commerce registration followed. At the time there was a provider of virtual tours, but that went for volume; Panpics | panoramic pictures decidedto go for quality.
New investments were made in 2018 to realize state-of-the-art virtual tour productions. For example, we are currently an official MSP Pro partner. We distinguish ourselves by also offering video, whether or not integrated within virtual tours. There is also a strategic collaboration with Exversa Productions (Bas de Beer).
